Renewable Energy – Honest Government Ad

But instead of getting out of the way and “letting the market decide” (as they always preach to us about), this Govt is trying to pass a policy – NEG (yes it’s really called NEG wtf) – which would delay the transition by a decade, by setting the emissions target so low that it would remove the economic incentive we currently have for polluters to shift to RE. On top of that, the Govt and its minions are spreading bs about the reliability and affordability of RE – when in fact RE is now competing directly with coal and gas on both of those fronts. The fossil fuel industry is shitting itself. And they’re the ones who need the Govt subsidies and support to keep raking in the profits, not Renewables.

Doesn’t that make your blood boil? I admit it’s a complicated and convoluted topic. It took me a while to understand wtf is happening, I spent more than a month researching and reading before I could write this video. And I know most peeps won’t have time to do that. And that’s precisely why I put it all into a 2 minute video for ya’s!

Now we just need to get the word out there. So I guess this is my equivalent of screaming it out from the rooftops. I want peeps to be excited, and most importantly aware! Coz shit, we cannot afford to miss this chance. We won’t get another opportunity like this to keep our emissions below the limit which scientists say we need to avoid catastrophic climate change.
